Beth E. Janzen's poems have appeared in journals such as The Malahat Review and
The Antigonish Review. Night Vanishes appeared in 2004, published by Saturday Morning Chapbooks, and her first full-length book of poetry, The Enchanted House, was published by
The Acorn Press in 2006. It was nominated for The PEI Book Award in 2008. In July 2012, her first fiction publication appeared. "Watermelon" was published in Riptides: New Island Fiction, edited by Richard Lemm (Acorn Press). For more than 10 years, Beth has enjoyed facilitating writing classes and acting as a mentor for writers at all stages of their journeys. She has an MA in English from UBC. Beth has lived in Charlottetown, PEI for over 12 years and counts herself lucky to be a member of WWW, a vibrant writing group which meets bi-weekly and goes on retreat together once a year. |
